Avec Shukou MURASE (Genocidal Organ, Ergo Proxy, Gangsta.) au chara-design, Hajime Katoki (MS Gundam The Origin, Narrative, Thunderbolt, 0083, UC) au mecha-design, Masaru Sato (Erased, Serial Experiment Lain) et Yusuke Takeda (The Ancient Magus Bride, Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, Sword Art Online) à la direction artistique, une véritable équipe de rêve fut réunie au sein du Studio SUNRISE pour la création de cette série spin-off de la saga imaginée par Yoshiyuki Tomino.


     

    Synopsis
    L’humanité quitta la Terre, devenue trop petite et aux ressources insuffisantes, afin de débuter une nouvelle existence sur les colonies spatiales. Hélas, l’Alliance Terrestre accrut sa puissance militaire au nom de la justice et de la paix, étendant son autorité et annexant les colonies les unes après les autres. En l’an 195 du calendrier After Colony, des colons projettent une rébellion contre l’Alliance et déclenchent l’Opération Météore : cinq armures mobiles secrètes, pilotées par de talentueux pilotes, sont envoyées sur Terre déguisées en météores. Leur but ? Contrecarrer l’impérialisme de l’Alliance.

    It is serving the purpose it is bought for. However the assembly was harder than it should have been. Joining the parts A and B (two iron pipes) was very hard. We can't use any tools to do that and it has to be done manually and every joint was very tight and very hard to to do. I had to struggle to make 24 joints for the length I need. At one point I was going to return it, but I needed it very badly so continued with the assembly.
