Building off the original Rising Sun tremolo, the minds at NativeAudio took to a fresh and familiar redesign of the pedal's sound and interface. The Rising Sun V2's analog-optical tremolo effect is still as sonically articulate and deeply interactive as ever, with a couple of key updates to the design.
At the center of this Rising Sun is NativeAudio's unique tap and ramp effect functions. These two effect modes allow players to dial into different effect experiences that are both effortlessly playable and expressive. The Rising Sun V2's tap mode keys into four selectable divisions – half, quarter, eighth, and sixteenth for a variety of rhythmic tremolo trails. In ramp mode, the Rising Sun V2 invites players to ramp up and down between two set tremolo speeds on the fly using the dedicated Control footswitch. Tremolo speeds can be set using the On footswitch's separate Hold function. Four tremolo waveform shapes and thirteen dB of onboard boost give the Rising Sun V2 a host of tremolo forms to take as well as impressive preamp capabilities. With so much tremolo territory to travel, NativeAudio's Rising Sun V2 expands the horizon even further.
