To help Court make the image as realistic as possible, George bought a life-sized skeleton from a medical supply shop. Court named her Rosie. After several hours of propping and rigging, Rosie hung frozen in the position of a skateboarding skeleton. Court got to work. His piece, completed near the end of 1978, served as a Bones sticker and T-shirt graphic, the first illustration created under the new Powell Peralta brand.
