There's always a story to tell with this Gibson Custom Shop 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue in a radiant VOS Washed Cherry Sunburst. Throwing it back to 1960 – one of Gibson's flagship production years, particularly for the Les Paul – this Gibson Custom Shop piece has some big shoes to fill. This year's influence is still palpable all this time later with authentic and faithful models like the one we see before us today. Historical accuracy and timeless tone make this Les Paul Standard a classic in any time.

With a model like this Gibson Custom Shop Reissue, we're treated to a real red carpet Les Paul Standard experience – all killer, no filler. This model kicks off the way many great Les Pauls have before it have – with a one-piece, lightweight yet non-weight-relieved mahogany solid body. Effortlessly capturing the essence and authentic feel of a 1960 Les Paul Standard on the knee or over the shoulder, the mahogany in question is an indispensable element. This authentic starting point is then matched with its partner-in-crime, a two-piece figured maple top. Though many Les Paul series have done quite well with no maple cap, this striking 1960 recreation simply couldn't go without.

This model's Les Paul Standard body pairs the rich, resonant base of its mahogany with the top-end crispness of its maple through quality hide glue fit assembly. At this point, the body is then wrapped in a rich Gibson Custom Shop VOS nitrocellulose gloss finish. Replicating the looks of an original Gibson gloss finish really only affected by the wears of time, this aged VOS finish treatment ages the look of this guitar's cool Washed Cherry Sunburst just enough for that added bit of tasteful weariness.

Extending out, this Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Standard brings on a solid mahogany neck taking a 60s SlimTaper profile. The famously slim '60 Gibson profile slips easily into grip and slips smoothly from lower to higher registers. Here, an Indian rosewood fingerboard enters for that authentic Les Paul Standard feel on the fingers. Twenty-two Authentic Medium Jumbo frets punctuate the rosewood with aged cellulose nitrate Trapezoid inlays for that extra element of vintage geometry.

Where would a Les Paul Standard be without its voice? For its tones, the Gibson Custom Shop elected to include – what else but – two Gibson Custombucker Alnico 3 humbucking pickups. Producing that all-important humbucking clarity and warmth, the story told with these new Gibson humbuckers is consistent with those of Gibson's past. These Custombuckers are wired with CTS 500K potentiometers and paper-in-oil capacitors for smooth and expressive mixing through tones.

The Gibson Custom Shop went ahead to top off this Les Paul Standard with a set of reliable hardware specifications. At the base of the scale, this Les Paul Standard features a No-Wire ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and matching lightweight aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece. Keeping strings grounded and stable with nickel-plated brass saddles, this bridge and tailpiece are just as much icons as anything else on this guitar. Moving toward the scale's opposite end, we're met with a couple smaller – though no less important – hardware pieces including a nylon nut and Kluson tuning machines. This Gibson Custom Shop piece travels with an included Lifton Reissue five-latch hardshell case and certificate of authenticity booklet.

A Gibson Custom Shop model to truly endure, Gibson's 1960 is alive and well into today and beyond.

Great Ball Launcher!
Style: Sport, Size: Large
Our dogs love this ball launcher! I can throw the ball long distances without any arm strain. The balls wear out, and as described by others, tennis balls don’t fit. Buy extra balls if this is of concern. We bought a few of the “Chuck It” rubber 3” balls and they have worked well for our dogs. It’s a great value and fun for the dogs.

Chuckit!! Just Chuck it!!
Style: Sport, Size: Large
Chuck it further than your skinny little arms can chuck it. Doggo loved this, I loved this and when we were done Doggo promptly hid it under the porch so I couldn’t take it from him. It’s not a squeaky toy, it’s for fetch. You wing it out toward the yard and it flies, bounces if it’s lucky then is attacked in an adoring manner. We like it!!

The best way to tire your dog out in the dark
Size: 25in
My 7 month Golden Retriever puppy has way too much energy. And I go to work in the dark, and come home in the dark. This was the solution. First of all if you get this, I suggest a UV flashlight to charge it. Most of these phosphors for glow in the dark items have very strong optical absorption in the UV, and the UV will charge both the ball and the launcher in seconds. I shine the light at the launcher with the ball in it, since you can then see where the launcher is when you are trying to load the ball. I use this UV flashlight, which takes qty=3 AA batteries. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A5KLUG2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have never used a launcher before and I learned it within about 10 throws. It is easy to have a basic competence. I live in a suburban area and I send the ball across front lawns, trying to avoid the street, or hitting my neighbors parked cars. I can consistently do this now with the launcher, which is a big improvement over the old tennis racket and ball routine. I got the 25" medium ball launcher, which also works for tennis balls. The scoop goes easily over the Chuck-it balls. My older dog is not taking to it, since he was trained to sit and give the ball. This works better if you have the dog drop the ball so you can scoop it. The glow in the dark ball has 2 holes (think wiffle) that have a low pitch whooshing whistle as you toss it. This is great for my puppy who gets easily distracted as the glowing ball and the noise it makes really helps him propery mark it. Overall I think the dog retrieves better in the dark as there are fewer distractions, and I feel better about the dark for retrieving since there is no traffic early in the morning (both foot and auto). The ball has some squish to it and the pup loves to chew on it as he brings it back. I do not let him play with it when we are not retrieving...better for him to destroy his chew bones and ropes. It took him about 5 tries to get the hang of picking up the new ball. The older dog (13yr old golden) does not like it and only goes for tennis balls. I can tell already this is my puppy's favorite toy ever. I put it up out of reach across coat hooks in the entryway, and that pup will sit there staring at it, then at me, then at it hoping that I will go out and use it. With bounces and rolls and the puppy missing the grab this has gone 100-150' across 3 front lawns. I am looking forward to giving it a go in the park on the weekend. Main problems with the pup now are he likes to parade around me with the ball when he comes back, then lie down and try to give it a proper chew. If I use my launcher to pick it up, I have to put my foot between him and the ball since he will try to get it back fast. Overall this launcher means faster pickup, faster release, more accurate release, good distance, and a better run per time allocation than the old tennis racket and ball routine.

Chuck a Glowing Ball
Size: 18in
This baby ball checker is good for a medium sized dog because of the size of the ball which glows in the dark. It is a handy feature for playing with the dog at night. It is fairly priced, durable. It doesn’t squeak and is not made to be chewed. F your dog likes to run around after balls this should be good for you.
