De SIMA sjaal is een duurzame zijden sjaal, gemaakt van geüpcyclede materialen en ontwikkeld samen met Saheli Women in India. De zijde wordt op natuurlijke wijze geverfd met ingrediënten uit de natuur, zoals bloemen, kruiden en mineralen, wat zorgt voor subtiele en unieke kleurnuances.

Voor de print wordt gebruikgemaakt van de eco-dye techniek: een ambachtelijk proces waarbij de stof besprenkeld wordt en vervolgens gestoomd. Elke sjaal ontstaat zo stap voor stap, met aandacht en intentie en is daardoor volledig one of a kind.

Met een formaat van ongeveer 1 x 1 meter is de SIMA sjaal een veelzijdig accessoire dat je op verschillende manieren kunt dragen, zoals om je hals, in je haar of als bandana.

Omdat er gewerkt wordt met leftover stoffen, kunnen de afmetingen licht variëren. Zo wordt elk stukje materiaal optimaal benut, zonder onnodige verspilling.

Let op: doordat er geen chemicaliën zijn gebruikt tijdens het verfproces, kunnen de kleuren wat vervagen. Was de sjaal daarom enkel met de hand, in een koud sopje met een klein drupje wasmiddel en azijn en was zo min mogelijk om de kwaliteit en kleur zo lang mogelijk te behouden.

Asurion "Assures" nothing!
Asurion has terrible Customer Support. All machine based. They give you no phone # for human interaction. Their online Support process is very close-ended. It is a checklist designed to frustrate purchasers whose issue lies outside only the very issue. My issue: I bought "Cuisinart TOB-40FR Custom Classic Toaster Oven Broiler, Silver (Renewed)" on May 26, 2024. It stated it had a 90 day warranty. So I bought an Asurion Protection Plan also to cover it for 3 years. The toaster started flaking off metal finish inside the oven over the cooking area. I tried to file a claim with Asurion and they told me the Manufacturers warranty was still in effect and I should contact Cuisinart. This despite the oven was sold with a Amazon Renewed verbiage stating a 90 day warranty. And they have nothing on their "Machine Checklist" to cover this eventuality. And I would assume I am not the only one who takes the "Renewed" route and backs it up with a "Protection Plan". They will frustrate you no end. I suspect, like many insurances, they seek to deny, deny, deny, in hopes the purchaser will give up.
