Tasting Notes

Appearance

This Tasmanian Pinot Noir displays a vibrant ruby red colour with garnet highlights, reflecting the quality and concentration achieved from low-yielding 30-year-old vines in the cool-climate regions of Pipers Brook and the Tamar Valley.

Aroma

The bouquet reveals enticing aromas of mulberry and black cherry, complemented by earthy notes and hints of liquorice. The nose is intensely perfumed and expressive, showcasing the wine's cool-climate character and the influence of wild fermentation and whole bunch inclusion.

Palate

On the palate, this wine offers abundant berry fruits with subtle spice and soft, silky tannins. The wine displays excellent balance between fruit intensity and structural elegance, with well-integrated tannins that provide texture without overwhelming the delicate fruit. The finish is long and refined, with lingering notes of red berries and earthy complexity. The combination of volcanic Ferrosol soils from Pipers Brook and black cracking clay Vertosol soils from the West Tamar contributes to the wine's depth, concentration, and distinctive Tasmanian character.

Pairs With

This elegant Tasmanian Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with roasted duck breast, mushroom risotto, grilled salmon, lamb rack with herbs, and aged brie cheese, making it an excellent companion for sophisticated dining and special occasions.

Produced from grapes grown at Pipers Brook near Bass Strait and at Strathlynn on the west bank of the Tamar River, this wine captures the essence of Tasmania's premier cool-climate wine regions.

Enrichment toy is working
We have had these for a while. Got them for enrichment during the AZ summers when it is too hot to get outside. They are very durable. We do have to use cheese spray to fill them.

Not meant for small dogs.
I bought this toy ball hoping it would be a fun treat dispenser for my Shih Tzu, but it’s way too big for her to handle. The grooves are really deep, so treats just get stuck inside and she can’t get them out. The texture is also super slippery, so she has trouble keeping a grip on it, and the plastic is heavy and not flexible at all. Overall, not a great fit for small dogs.

It'll only last a week
Size: 5 Inch, Color: Classic Bone, Size: 5 Inch, Color: Classic Bone
We've only had it a few days and she's already half way through it. It won't last the week. She doesn't eat it, she spits out the pieces. If you buy it was a consumable, totally worth the money. I'll probably buy my power chewer a couple a month
