The 1062GM Series self-locking pliers have long, C-shaped jaws to reach around obstacles. A hinged, flat platform at the end of each jaw in floats in for grasping odd-shaped objects. A knurled thumbscrew on one handle adjusts the jaw opening, and a lever on the other handle releases the jaws when squeezed. Chrome-plated jaws and handles and the adjuster and release lever have a black oxide finish.
