From the Italian scaglia, meaning “chips”, Scagliola was developed in 17th Century Tuscany and used extensively to decorate churches and palaces where it was prized for its richness and warmth.
Easily mistaken for natural marble and just as durable, creating scagliola is a highly specialized skill requiring historical knowledge and technical excellence to produce columns, sculptures and other architectural elements.
Howe Home's lamps are made traditionally; a light weight column core is applied with a hand-coloured plaster like scagliola substance, mixing textures and colours to create a coarse and lumpy object that only the craftsman himself knows will resemble fine marble or stone once cut and polished. It’s truly an art!
Price includes the classic cream card 16″ shade. Available wired with a silk flex for the UK and USA as standard.

My dogs love these! I was buying them on Chewy, but there a little cheaper on Amazon. I guess they're flavored because both of my dogs love to chew on them. They hold up pretty well too.

My dog loves this

This was a great product for a chewer dog.
My Pitt bull chewed this toy for a long time. My only complaint would be in the process of chewing some areas became pointy and cut his gums slightly. It didn’t seem to bother him but the blood on the white toy was disturbing to me.

Sturdy and favorite chew toy

Golden retriever puppy favorite chew toy. All the curves and edges make him so happy he closes his eyes when he chews it. Family dogs come over and always want to steal it from him. Extremely sturdy too. Only downside is I think it is paper waded up on the floor from a distance. Haha.

THE Most Important Toy

My dog refuses to play with toys. She’s a rescue, so I’m not sure what her past has involved, but she doesn’t pay attention to any toys. Except this one. This is her 4th one- I buy a new one when she chews it beyond recognition, and she still loves it. (For time reference- I’ve had her 9 years, so we go through one roughly every 4 years.)
My brother’s late dog also would only play with these. Something about the dinosaur shape- it’s magical!
