De olijfboom is onderhoudsvriendelijk en eenvoudig te verzorgen. Om de boom gezond en sterk te houden, is het raadzaam hem elke twee jaar te verpotten. Dit bevordert de wortelgroei en zorgt ervoor dat de boom zich optimaal blijft ontwikkelen.
