Houd het water van uw zwembad schoon met de Aqua Plus AQ 400+ zandfilterset - 8 m3/u. Met een doorstroming van 8.000 liter per uur geschikt voor zwembaden tot 32.000 liter inhoud. Voorzien van een krachtige zelfaanzuigende pomp, zodat u de set zowel boven als onder waterniveau kunt plaatsen. Voor eenvoudige bediening wordt een 6-wegkraan meegeleverd, waarmee u snel tussen alle functies schakelt.

Inhoud pakket

De Aqua Plus AQ 400+ zandfilterset wordt inclusief 38 mm aansluiting, koppelslang en veiligheidsstekker met interne aardlekschakelaar geleverd. Zo kunt u de set direct aansluiten. Het filtermedium wordt echter niet standaard meegeleverd, maar is wel apart verkrijgbaar. Hiervoor kunt u gaan voor filterzand, filterglas of Aqualoon.

Eenvoudig in gebruik

De Aqua Plus AQ 400+ zandfilterset heeft een top-mount filtervat, waarbij de 6-wegkraan op de bovenkant is geplaatst voor eenvoudige bediening. Dankzij deze kraan beschikt het filter over alle functies. Deze functies zijn;

  • Filteren: normale stand waarmee het zwembadwater wordt gefilterd.
  • Backwash: het water wordt in de tegenovergestelde richting gestuurd, zodat vuil uit het filtervat wordt verwijderd.
  • Rinse: wordt na backwash gebruikt. Zorgt ervoor dat het filtermedium weer goed in het filtervat wordt gelegd.
  • Close: om het filtervat volledig te sluiten, wordt gebruikt wanneer bijvoorbeeld de pomp uit staat.
  • Waste: het zwembadwater wordt rechtstreeks naar het riool geleid, te gebruiken om het zwembad leeg te laten lopen.
  • Circulatie: het water wordt niet door, maar langs het filtervat gepompt. Te gebruiken wanneer u bijvoorbeeld een chloorshock behandeling uitvoert.

So a Toyota dealer will want $40+ to replace this filter, but for $10 and 2mins you can easily do this yourself. There’s a great 1:30 how-to vid on the YouTube, drop the glove box (one push) open the little door, remove old filter (note the arrow) and put in the new one, close door, close glove box, enjoy better flow and fresh air. This filter is a HEPA so it’s a performance upgrade over the OEM, fit is perfect, seems sturdier than the OEM, great value if you’ve got 2mins. Highly recommend. Thanks!

the "fit" is very precise

Nice Fabrication, Good materials, perfect adhesive applications, "clean joints" etc. Appears to be a good UPGRADE from the stock Motorcraft product. CONs: The FIT was a "smidge TIGHT", and took very precise initial alignment and "pressure" to begin to slide into the rectangular hole. I measured the "Hole" at 7.375" wide, or (187.33 mm)... the FILTER is exactly the SAME. I would suggest maybe reducing the Width by 1 mm, to allow for an easier installation. The MOTORCRAFT uses an "open-cell" foam structure for the (2) Side pieces on their filter assembly, allowing some "compression to fit", of the Width, easing the difficulty of installation, yet still filling all voids. In summation, the "fit" is very precise. Not to be hurried or rushed, maybe a bit meticulous for the impatient or weak of heart.
