From our Heritage collection, 'Otto' ribbed loose top socks are a great, durable all rounder, an easy choice to wear with sneakers, riding boots or some work boots. The merino wool will keep your feet snug in winter and the ribbed construction ventilates your feet keeping them cool in summer.

Loose top socks have no elastic at all, they simply shape to your feet after the first wash and the well shaped heel keeps them in place. They're perfect for people with circulation issues.

Do Loose Top Socks fall down?
No. We have found over the years that when the correct sock size and style is matched to your shoe type we can keep the sock in place. A little give but not too much stretch, combined with a well-rounded, deep heel made as close to a 90-degree angle as possible, keeps our socks anchored to your feet, so that even with a loose top they won’t fall down. Our 'Otto' Loose Top Socks are made from 75% Australian-grown merino wool and 25% nylon for added strength and durability.

How do I wash merino socks?
Sizing will be correct after the first wash. We recommend a quick, cold machine wash. They should be washed separately, or in a hosiery and lingerie wash bag so they do not catch on other garments.
