Whether you're stepping off a floatplane or wading into your favorite stretch of river, the Orvis Bug-Out Fly Fishing Backpack is built to keep up. Designed as a dedicated fishing pack that crosses over seamlessly as a travel carry-on or overnighter, this is the one bag that does it all.
With 25 liters of capacity and smart organization throughout, everything you need is right where you left it. Top and side-entry access makes it easy to grab gear on the go, while the integrated back panel net holder keeps even larger guide nets secure and out of the way. The external water bottle and rod tube holder features a deployable extension that lowers your rod tube to shoulder height — a small detail that makes a big difference on long days.
Shoulder straps are loaded with features including accessory docking stations, a fly patch, and buckle receivers that are compatible with the Orvis Chest Pack (25FS) and Chest/Hip Pack (25FT). The padded front pocket fits a hydration bladder or laptop, and tuck-away hip straps help distribute the load on longer hauls. A tricot-lined sunglass and phone pocket on the top flap keeps your valuables protected, and the ridged back panel promotes airflow to keep you comfortable all day.
Built with sustainability in mind, the shell is made from 100% recycled ECO CORDURA 600 denier polyester with strategic TPU coating — tough enough for the river, refined enough for the airport.
