Katana tsuka with 8 pair jabara ito maki.
Fuchikashira made of shakudo with copper and shakudo inlay. Six kiri mon are gilded. This is an antique set with a modern made ring attached. Please see a bit of paper on fuchi that separates modern made part from an old one. Additional ring is made of copper and patinated. It was added to extend size of both fuchi and kashira.
Flower shakudo menuki with silver inlay and gilded elements. I am sorry I am not sure when it was made.
Good quality samegawa, lacquered.
Tsuka core, samegawa and tsuka maki are modern made.
Condition: good condition but too much "glue" was used on jabara ito and some is showing between the threads. Because of that tsuka maki is very tight.
