The Flip is a strong aerobat. It's fish shaped fuselage supports it well in a knife edge and through rolling circles. Precision aerobatics are clean and sharp. At the other end of the spectrum, the Flip is gentle enough to be lazed around the sky and we've even heard rumors of it catching a thermal or two. The Flip can be setup to be bungee launched, sloped or electrified for self launch goodness. 

The fuselage is molded from fiberglass with carbon reinforcements in the critical stress areas. The tail boom area is a "glass foam glass" sandwich which results in a lightweight yet stiff structure. The wing joiner holes are pre drilled and the joiner tubes are epoxied into place. The Flips fuselage is quite roomy making it a joy to work on, even when installing an electric drive.

Wing construction is balsa over polystyrene cores, complete with glass reinforced spars and finished in Oracover. The full flying elevator is constructed primarily of balsa with a carbon spar and leading edge. The rudder is a balsa built up affair finished in Oracover.

Upon opening the box containing the Flip, you will notice TopModels' very good craftsmanship and build quality. All of the parts are individually wrapped or bagged; airframe parts, screws, control linkages to the firewall.. The kit is beautifully packed and very complete!
