The New Yorker Jonathan Blitzer.
ENGLISH DESCRIPTION A New York Times bestseller - Winner of the Hillman Book Prize and Robert F Kennedy Book Award - Finalist for the LA Times Book Award - A New York Times Top 10 Book of 2024 - Named a Best Book of the Year by The New Yorker, Chicago Tribune, Newsweek, PBS NewsHour, LitHub, Kirkus Reviews, Publishers Lunch, Christian Science Monitor, and Counterpunch - One of Barack Obama's Summer Reading List Picks - Named a Notable Book by New York Times and Washington Post - Nominated for the Carnegie Medal for Excellence and the Baillie Gifford Prize for Non-Fiction "What an incredibly thorough documentation of the causes of the immigration crisis, the discussions that have been going on through multiple administrations." --Jon Stewart, The Daily Show "Everyone Who Is Gone Is Here is sure to take its place as one of the definitive accounts of the U.S. and Central American immigration puzzle. . . . Hopefully, those with the power to change things will listen." --Manuel Roig-Franzia, Washington Post An epic, heartbreaking, and deeply reported history of the disastrous humanitarian crisis at the southern border told through the lives of the migrants forced to risk everything and the policymakers who determine their fate, by New Yorker staff writer Jonathan Blitzer Everyone who makes the journey faces an impossible choice. Hundreds of thousands of people who arrive every year at the US-Mexico border travel far from their homes. For years, the majority came from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras, but many more have begun their journey much farther away. Some flee persecution, others crime or hunger. They may have already been deported, but the United States remains their only hope for safety and prosperity. They will take their chances. As Jonathan Blitzer dramatizes with forensic, unprecedented reporting, this crisis is the result of decades of misguided policy and sweeping corruption. Brilliantly weaving the stories of Central Americans whose lives have been devastated by chronic political conflict and violence with those of American activists, government officials, and the politicians responsible for the country's tragically tangled immigration policy, Blitzer reveals the full, layered picture of this vast and unremitting conflict. Everyone Who Is Gone Is Here tells the epic story of the people whose lives ebb and flow across the border, delving into the heart of American life itself. This vital and remarkable story has shaped the nation's turbulent politics and culture in countless ways--and will almost certainly determine its future.

Soft, fluffy and surprisingly comfortable
Color: White, Size: Queen (Pack of 2), Color: White, Size: Queen (Pack of 2)
I really liked these pillows. I tried to show different things in my photos because I wanted people to see the details: the design, how fluffy they are, and how full and thick they actually look. They are so full that the pillowcase even looks tight once you put it on, which I actually loved because they look luxurious and well-filled.
At first glance they look very thick and high, but once you lay down they feel soft and fluffy instead of hard. They adjust comfortably and feel very cozy whether you’re sleeping, relaxing, or even reading before bed.
I think they offer a really good balance because they feel supportive without being stiff. Of course, pillow preference is very personal—some people like lower pillows and others like higher ones—but for someone who likes fuller pillows that are still soft and comfortable, these are great.
They are spacious, cozy, and feel like a very good purchase overall. I honestly don’t have any complaints so far. Definitely happy with them.

Great quality pillows. Very difficult wrapping.
Color: White, Size: King (Pack of 2)
The Pillows are the real deal. Very fluffy but with good support. I was surprised by the weight of the box they came in, pretty heavy so you know there’s good quality pillows inside.
The one negative is that the pillows are packed in very very tight plastic because they come compressed. But the thing is, it’s really a chore to open them. You have to be careful not to cut through the plastic to the material, but the plastic is put on so incredibly tight that it’s even hard to get your finger underneath.
But I found a way to open them. Near the top, insert A very flat metal ruler as far in as you could get it. Then cut through the plastic that’s above the metal ruler. That prevents a sharp tool from damaging the pillows. As you get through the plastic above the ruler, keep pushing the ruler further down into the package. Believe me, this simplifies what could be a very difficult unpacking. I am very surprised that the company that makes them does not insert the type of opener that you find on boxes you receive in the mail or even packages that you get from the grocery store where you just pull a tab and that opens the package.
These are really good pillows, but you must be very careful about using a sharp object when opening the box and when trying to cut through the plastic. I am a strong man and have the tools needed, a very flat metal ruler, and a box cutter, knife, or razor. Good luck. !!

Comfy, supportive pillow.
Color: White, Size: Queen (Pack of 2)
The 2 queen sized pillows fluffed right out of the package. Very soft to the touch like laying your head in a marshmallow, nice support, and so comfortable. My neck did not hurt and I rested good. I usually use a My Pillow but these are just as nice.

Fabulous and Fluffy
Color: White, Size: Queen (Pack of 2), Color: White, Size: Queen (Pack of 2)
Fabulous and fluffy pillows.... they feel like clouds, clouds snatched right out of heaven. Just the right amount of fluff and just the right amount of firmness! they are good weight , they weigh what you would expect a biggo pillow to weigh. The vacuumed seal does not diminish the quality of these pillows. Very easy to use. They're white and they'll fit your bed perfect (no im not sponsored LOL) I'm just saying that these pillows are wonderful, I highly recommend. The art water resistant but I wouldn't expect pillows of comfort to be water resistant anyway cuz why would your bed be wet enough for that. A very fancy private institution where doctors would study him yeah
