Infections that may be treated with Targocid are ones that could become serious and include: skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections (affect stuctures for passing urine, such as the kidney and bladder); respiratory tract infections (affect lung and breathing); joint and bone infections; septicaemia (blood poisoning caused by infection of the blood); endocarditis (infections of the lining of the heart); peritonitis (infections in the lining of the abdomen and pelvis) caused by kidney dialysis treatment.
