The Orvis Men's PRO Waders are made for anglers who push into rough country and tough water to find fish. A proprietary four-layer CORDURA shell protects the upper body, while a five-layer CORDURA shell guards the lower legs where abrasion and punctures do the most damage. Low-profile seam construction and a gusseted crotch add freedom of movement and seam strength for long days on the water.
Comfort runs through every detail. Modern anatomically correct neoprene booties cut bulk and give a true sock-like feel that slides easily into wading boots, and the streamlined PU-reinforced mesh gravel guard wraps the boot tightly to eliminate drag and water collection. Removable OrthoLite 6mm knee pads bring the same cushioning technology found in the PRO Boot insole for comfort when you kneel on rock and gravel.
Storage is everywhere you need it. An external pocket with a YKK AquaGuard water-resistant zipper keeps essentials dry, the front-pocket daisy chain and rubberized suspender tabs give you multiple docking points for tools, and a fly patch handles quick changes. Inside, a large four-way stretch power mesh pocket expands for bigger items, while kangaroo-style fleece-lined handwarmer pockets keep your hands ready in cold water. Adjustable elastic suspenders with opposing buckles convert the waders to waist-high in seconds.
