The E4ODs and 4R100s - used in full-sized Ford trucks and vans since 1989 - have soft, car-like shift characteristics. Many truck owners prefer firmer shifts, especially when hauling large loads. great for certain items
i am an infrequent buyer of the assurion warranties but do use them for stuff i think might be something i'd claim on like the very low priced inflatable paddleboard i got. i can't imagine the thig lasting 2 years but the warranty makes that a no brainer. i have only once in my history had to make a claim and it was an easy process where they just automatically refunded the price of the item
