Is this Metaphysically star ruby?

True Star Rubies are more gemmy, which means they have a deeper darker red color and are transparent.  If polished and cut properly they will have a star of platinum/silver flash when you look directly down on them.  Great care must be taken to cut them properly and polish them well for them to look like this.  Unfortunately, online there are many fakes and if you see one for sale for less than $100 per carat (1/5 gram) they are most likely fakes.  This may not be an unscrupulous action on the seller, they may have been duped to believing they were real.

The ones in this listing are also Ruby of lesser grade (less gemmy) and they have not been meticulously cut, but are polished.  So the grains in the Ruby that have flash are kind of random and I think the color is superb.  So, I call the Starfire Rubies and that is my trade name for them.  Metaphysically they share most of the properties of Rubies and Star Rubies, but have not had the benefit of a gem cutter's attention and great care in how they were cut.  So, the price is very low comparatively to a Star Ruby.
