Light: Pilea peperomioides thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some gentle direct sunlight, but avoid harsh midday sun, which can scorch the leaves. Rotate the plant regularly to keep its growth even.

Water: Allow the top few centimetres of soil to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly and ensure excess drains away, as this plant prefers well-drained soil and does not like sitting in water. Reduce watering slightly in winter.
