The ignitor PB040280 is responsible for sparking the burners to safely ignite the gas flow and initiate the cooking process. The ignition device works through a high-voltage electrical arc that produces a spark near each gas burner valve whenever a cooktop burner is turned on. This spark reliably ignites the gas, allowing full and consistent burner flame. Replace a faulty grill ignitor when your burners won't light or you hear clicking without ignition.
