It has a lot of foliage, which consists of long, supple blue-green needles that are borne in clusters of five. As a sprawling shrub, this conifer needs to be taught to grow a core trunk. This graceful White Pine grows over 12 inches (30 cm) per year and is an excellent specimen plant.
