NATIONAL BESTSELLER - NATIONAL BOOK CRITICS CIRCLE AWARD WINNER - NAMED ONE OF TIME'S TEN BEST NONFICTION BOOKS OF THE DECADE AND ONE OF BUZZFEED'S BEST BOOKS OF THE DECADE"A brilliant and stirring epic . . . Ms. Wilkerson does for the Great Migration what John Steinbeck did for the Okies in his fiction masterpiece, The Grapes of Wrath; she humanizes history, giving it emotional and psychological depth."--John Stauffer, The Wall Street Journal NAMED ONE OF THE TEN BEST BOOKS OF THE YEAR BY The New York Times -USA Today - O: The Oprah Magazine - Publishers Weekly - Salon - Newsday -The Daily Beast In this beautifully written masterwork, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Isabel Wilkerson chronicles one of the great untold stories of American history: the decades-long migration of black citizens who fled the South for northern and western cities, in search of a better life. From 1915 to 1970, this exodus of almost six million people changed the face of America. Wilkerson compares this epic migration to the migrations of other peoples in history. She interviewed more than a thousand people, and gained access to new data and official records, to write this definitive and vividly dramatic account of how these American journeys unfolded, altering our cities, our country, and ourselves. With stunning historical detail, Wilkerson tells this story through the lives of three unique individuals: Ida Mae Gladney, who in 1937 left sharecropping and prejudice in Mississippi for Chicago, where she achieved quiet blue-collar success and, in old age, voted for Barack Obama when he ran for an Illinois Senate seat; sharp and quick-tempered George Starling, who in 1945 fled Florida for Harlem, where he endangered his job fighting for civil rights, saw his family fall, and finally found peace in God; and Robert Foster, who left Louisiana in 1953 to pursue a medical career, the personal physician to Ray Charles as part of a glitteringly successful medical career, which allowed him to purchase a grand home where he often threw exuberant parties. Wilkerson brilliantly captures their first treacherous and exhausting cross-country trips by car and train and their new lives in colonies that grew into ghettos, as well as how they changed these cities with southern food, faith, and culture and improved them with discipline, drive, and hard work. Both a riveting microcosm and a major assessment, The Warmth of Other Suns is a bold, remarkable, and riveting work, a superb account of an "unrecognized immigration" within our own land. Through the breadth of its narrative, the beauty of the writing, the depth of its research, and the fullness of the people and lives portrayed herein, this book is destined to become a classic. Does well on my sensitive skin
Size: 1.7 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This is a good sunscreen, doesn't bother my sensitive skin or cause a roseacea flare up. It is a bit too dewy for my taste to wear just by itself, but does just fine when I use it under my makeup. If you like the "glass skin" look, it would be a good option.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect Sunscreen for Active Kids!
Coppertone Kids SPF 70 is a must-have for any parent! I’ve tried several sunscreens for my kids, but this one stands out for its reliability, protection, and ease of use. It’s no surprise it’s the #1 pediatrician-recommended brand—it really delivers.
What I love most is that it stays on strong, even when my kids are running around, sweating, and jumping in and out of the pool. The water resistance (up to 80 minutes) is a huge plus, especially for long beach days or outdoor sports. I don’t have to constantly reapply it every 20 minutes like with some other brands.
It’s also gentle on sensitive skin—my kids haven’t had any reactions, and there are no dyes or PABA, which gives me peace of mind. The lotion goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave that sticky or greasy feeling.
The SPF 70 protection is fantastic, especially for long summer days in the sun. And with a generous 8 oz bottle, it lasts a while even with frequent use.
If you’re looking for a sturdy, effective, and kid-friendly sunscreen, this is the one. It keeps my little ones protected so they can just focus on having fun—and I can relax knowing they’re covered!

Kid friendly
This sunscreen is amazing! It goes on smoothly, isn’t sticky, and absorbs quickly. My kids don’t mind applying it at all, which makes outdoor time much easier.
It provides excellent sun protection, keeps their skin safe during play, and doesn’t cause any irritation. The scent is mild and pleasant too. Definitely my go-to sunscreen for my kids—highly recommend!

Excellent Protection for Active Kids
The Coppertone Kids Sunscreen Lotion, SPF 70 has become a must-have in our outdoor routine. This sunscreen provides outstanding protection for my child’s skin, and I trust it to keep them safe during long hours outside.
Reliable Sun Protection for Kids
This sunscreen offers excellent SPF 70 protection, which is ideal for active kids who love being outdoors. I appreciate that it’s designed specifically for children, and it holds up well during activities, even with a lot of sweating or water play.
Slightly Thick, but Worth the Effort
The only small drawback is that it’s a bit thick, making it a little difficult to squeeze out of the bottle. However, once applied, it absorbs well and doesn’t leave a sticky residue, so it’s worth the minor inconvenience.
Final Thoughts
Overall, Coppertone Kids Sunscreen Lotion is an effective, reliable option for parents looking to keep their children protected in the sun. Despite the thicker consistency, it’s easy to apply and provides lasting coverage—highly recommended for peace of mind outdoors!

Love this product!
This sunscreen is heavy duty, I use it on my boys when we go to beach (They love to spend hours and hours under the blistering sun) and it out performs other brands and has longer protection than their 50 SPF product.
