Deadbeat Beat slowly took shape as the natural extension of a friendship begun in high school by drummer/vocalist Maria Nuccilli and guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Alex Glendening. Always at shows, hanging out, killing time and absorbing music, the two moved through early projects and various members coming and going before solidifying Deadbeat Beat with the inclusion of bassist Zak Frieling. By that point the band began finding their legs at shows in Detroit and through a series of sporadically self-released demos, EPs and singles. Recorded in Detroit's North End neighborhood by Jeff Else and mastered by Fred Thomas (Saturday Looks Good to Me), How Far came together in between multiple self-booked tours, including dates with bands like Guided By Voices, Anna Burch, Tacocat, Bodega and Protomartyr.1. Good Tool
Size: One Size, Style: Bottle Opener
This thing is great at opening bottles, and it has a Klein handle. Perfect for the electrician in your life, even if that's yourself. I had to knock off a star because the handle is not quite as good as other Klein tools. The plastic is not as clear. The TIP-IDENT bottlecap marking is off-center and not fully printed. The bottle opener sticks out at a slight angle. This does not affect the performance, but it does detract from the novelty somewhat.

expands work space effectively
Initially it was a bit challenging to set up as I was not fortunate enough to have assistance (the instructions tell you that you need two people for part of the installation process). I also had to play around with placement a bit as my available installation space was extremely limited and neither of the listed/'suggested mounting situations worked for me; however, with some head-scratching and debating with myself, I finally figured how to make it work how and where I needed it it, and all was good!! It functions well, and holds adequate weight, and looks really good with the light lacquer finish...the only thing I will say to a potential buyer is to make sure you have room to walk past it easily when its closed down because it still sticks out a few inches even when closed down...overall, very happy with this item and would purchase again.

Great addition to my sewing table!
I ordered two of these to give me a little more room on my sewing table. One for the backside and one for the left side. Worked out great! Very sturdy and not hard to install (followed directions). I just extended when I need room and fold when not in use. I would recommend these to anyone who just needs a little more table/room.
