It took six long years to Ataraxie to deliver the follow-up to 2013's ultra massive "L'être et la nausée". Six long years spent reinventing themselves when guitarist Sylvain ESTEVE (one of the founding members) left, replacing him with two new guitar players Hugo GASPAR (FATUM ELISUM, MALEMORT...) and Julian PAYAN (SORDIDE, VOID PARADIGM...), re-arranging their whole back-catalogue for this uncommon new line-up with three guitarists, touring Europe and writing new material. But when it comes to one of the European leaders of the Extreme Doom scene, delivery definitely doesn't mean deliverance. At all. "Résignés", the new album, is all but just "music", it's a painful experience to be suffered by all senses, by all organs, innards... It's not just like swarming in the sewers. It's drowning in an oil spill of cataclysmic proportions where deep growls sound like the last words expectorated through a last breath from oil-filled lungs and screams express the utter madness invading the mind of the soon-to-be-dead, you. Mixed by Sylvain BIGUET (TREPALIUM, EIBON, DISOWNING...) and mastered by Collin JORDAN (VOIVOD, EYEHATEGOD, YOB...) again, "Résignés" deals with the global failure of a whole specie chewing the rotten remains of the planet that once fed it, vowing itself to it's own demise, wallowing in pathetic beliefs in a hallucinated salvation. A world made of the madness of the masses, the morbid Human curiosity, it's voyeurism and hunger for blood and a whole part of the society, hopeless and resignated to commit suicide before having to face an even more painful end, taking turns between the executioner's hands, watching in delight the one before them dying while waiting for their own time to come. Here's what "Résignés" is all about: the resignation to death as the sole deliverance. Prepare to meet thy Extreme Doom.

Great Yard Helper!
So easy to use and affordable! This edger is a great time saver, easy to operate, and relatively easy to adjust although you may need a pliers or screwdriver to help with the adjustment levels, but its not difficult. I would have given this 5 stars but just one thing that is a sticking point for me is I wish this had its own stand or hanger because of its odd shape, it doesn't necessarily balance upright too well. It’s long and the guide wheel in the front sticks out. So, it is always awkward to get it tidy in the garage when not in use. Now maybe this is what it's like for landscapers…I’m not a professional. Just a homeowner doing my own upkeep. With what this costs, I’ll figure it out, and is worth the money.

First use was great!
I've used it just the one time today. I had previously "edged" with a string weedwhacker, so while the grass was cut back some, there wasn't a trench dug out. I did a gentle push and pull, taking on about 18" at a time to get a new trench dug next to the sidewalk edge. It did a great job! The entire unit was much heavier and sturdy looking than I was afraid it would be for the price, so pleasantly surprised. Assembly wasn't complicated, but it did take two of us to hold it steady because getting the screws to seat in the square hole and not have the cord in the way was a bit tricky. I'm a 70+ lady, not large and not athletic, but I was able to handle this edger with ease. Now, to see how long it lasts!

Initially defective poor quality
This item was initially defective and I needed one so I ordered another thinking it was a fluke. Both devices would not turn on. The second one briefly turned on for about 30 seconds and died. The major inconveniences that I can't return it in the normal way. I have to bring it to UPS and there isn't one near my house. I am very disappointed with this item and also with the return policy
