Installation Guide

- Safety First: Before starting, disconnect the engine's battery and remove the spark plug wires to prevent accidental starting.
- Position the Guard: Slide the two halves of the propeller guard over the lower unit, with one half above the cavitation plate and the other below the skeg.
- Align and Mark: Ensure the guard is centered and does not interfere with the propeller's movement. Mark the drilling locations on the cavitation plate and skeg through the mounting holes on the guard.
- Drill Holes: Remove the guard. Using the included 8.5 mm drill bit, carefully drill the marked holes through the cavitation plate and skeg.
- Secure the Guard: Re-position the guard halves and fasten them securely together using the provided stainless steel bolts and nuts. Tighten all hardware evenly.
- Final Check: Manually rotate the propeller to ensure it spins freely without touching any part of the guard.
