COURSE OVERVIEW:

Welcome to the Project Management Mastery course. This program will equip you with the advanced behaviours, analytical capabilities, interpersonal strengths, and organisational strategies required to operate at the level of a true project management master. You will explore what sets PM Masters apart from average practitioners, how they blend the science and art of project management, and how their leadership, decision-making, and communication skills enable them to deliver successful projects across changing environments, competing priorities, and diverse stakeholder landscapes.

This course begins by examining what distinguishes PM Masters from the rest of us, how the science and art of project management work together, and what the project manager’s role truly involves. You will explore how to boost your ability to lead projects effectively, why developing process management skills is essential for consistency and control, and why strong interpersonal skills create the foundation for collaboration and influence. This section also explores how to build a solid team, foster team motivation, recognise good performance, and document problems or opportunities as they arise. You will further explore how to participate in financial analysis, estimate cash inflows and outflows, and construct a cash-flow table that supports strategic decisions.

The next learning area focuses on project initiation and charter management. You will explore how to conduct a formal project kick-off, what is required for a successful kick-off meeting, and why planning for management presentations is critical. This section examines the checks needed when a project charter may need changes, why some projects must be terminated if they no longer offer value, and how to maximise your company’s return on its project investments. You will also explore how to stay alert to significant changes, how to avoid the label of “failure,” and why adaptive thinking is essential throughout a project’s early stages.

A further learning area explores strategic planning and early-stage project uncertainty. You will examine how to develop a logical plan, the benefits of a strong project plan, and how to leave room for learning as information emerges. This section explores how to navigate initial uncertainty while maintaining credibility, how to understand team dynamics, and how to build bonds by providing a bridge from individual to team-member identity. You will also learn how to develop a configuration plan, how to make configuration planning manageable, and how these structures support stability during project execution.

Another learning area addresses stakeholder engagement, communication, and risk. You will explore how to manage all project stakeholders, how to actively manage stakeholder relationships, and why developing tailored strategies for each stakeholder is essential. This section examines how to develop methods for dealing with project information, why information is essential, and how it is generated throughout the project lifecycle. You will also explore how to be objective about threats, how risk management is primarily a planning activity, how to identify, quantify, and analyse risks, and how to define a practical contingency plan. This section concludes with why communication channels must be actively managed and how structured communication supports project excellence.

The final learning area focuses on leadership maturity, strategic thinking, and long-term project value. You will explore how to make the shift from functional to project-based thinking, why post-project issues must be considered, and the basis for sound project decision-making. This section also examines how to manage project interfaces, why meetings must be prioritised, and why self-management is a core leadership behaviour. You will learn how to improve your leadership skills, recognise multiple success metrics, and use documentation wisely to reduce confusion and maintain clarity. This section further explores how to think like a functional manager, why excellent team behaviours should be rewarded, how to maximise learning during project closure, how to transfer lessons learned, why documenting problems and their impacts is critical, and why capturing suggested improvements strengthens future project performance.

By the end of this course you will be able to lead projects with advanced discipline and adaptability; develop high-performing teams; analyse financial impacts; manage charters, risks, stakeholders, and communication channels; transition between functional and project mindsets; guide teams through uncertainty; evaluate project success across multiple metrics; capture lessons learned; and deliver project outcomes that maximise organisational value and long-term capability.

Improved my foot health
Size: Medium, Color: Color Mix
I’ve been dealing with athletes foot for decades and using daily maintenance medication for longer than many people reading this have been alive. I generally don’t have any issues other than I always at least one or two nails that are cloudy and brittle. I’ve tried synthetic blends in the past but this just seemed to make things worse so I always go back to cotton. I was been reading about the benefits of wool so I thought I would try these socks. I had several clouded nails at the time but in just a few weeks of wearing wool socks I noted subtle improvements. At the time of writing this it has been over 4 months of wearing wool socks exclusively and all my nails are completely clear and healthy! I honestly can’t believe it since I haven’t had seen completely healthy nails since I was a teenager. I do continue to use daily antifungal maintenance medication but the only change has been the wool socks. I think part of the issue was the cotton socks being soaked with sweat when I took them off at the end of the day regardless of the season or activity levels. The wool socks, however, are usually dry. Even after taking them out of a hiking boot on a hot day on the trail they will feel damp but not soaked. Consequently, they dry out completely on a rock while taking a short break. By staying dry they don’t bind up and cause hot spots like cotton socks. That, and I think they just distribute the heat better than cotton and I wouldn’t be surprised if they are actually cooler on hot days. Of course, in cooler temps they are warmer and I did appreciate how much so until the other day when I wore some cotton socks that felt like I was wearing ice cubes on my feet when I was walking around my hard wood floors at the end of the day. With these particular wool ankle socks I did note a hole around the toes with a couple of the socks after a few washes. My experience with cotton socks is that even the smallest of holes will grow exponentially with each use and so I generally just discard them. At first, I was disappointed thinking that these socks would not last but it does not appear that the holes grow like cotton. In fact, I haven’t thrown one wool sock away. My eyes aren’t great at close distant but it seems like the holes I noticed disappeared. Even if they didn’t it doesn’t matter since they do not currently seem to be a problem. I haven’t had these socks long enough to notice any thinning at wear points like cotton socks but I suspect that since they don’t bind like cotton they are less prone to wear. I now have a dozen pairs of wool ankle socks and I’ve gotten in the habit of putting them in a separate bin for washing otherwise they end up getting tumble dried with the rest of the family’s close. They have been in drier a number of times and I suspect they look a little more aged as a result. If I wash them separately with other delicate items I just lay them out on the floor after washing since they aren’t noticeably wet after a spin cycle and they completely dry out overnight. At this point I would rather put on a pair of wool socks straight out of the washer then put on dry pair of cotton socks since the results would be the opposite at the end of the day.

Nice look, good value
Size: Large, Color: Grey Mixed(quarter Socks)
Fit great. Cushion on bottom is exactly what I wanted, top and ankle sections are much thinner as I wanted, so as not to be bulky. Expect they will well for walking and hiking. They did wash well although did lose some of the softness but did not shrink.

Nice but issue from manufacuter.
Size: Large, Color: Ivory/Beige/Pink, Size: Large, Color: Ivory/Beige/Pink
I received the 6 pack of socks to give as an Easter present. The socks were great colors, soft, and fit well. Will be a little warm during the hotter days. Unfortunately the yellow pair came with a hole already at the toe area.

My dog LOVES this tiny tug ball
Size: Medium(6")
A lot smaller than I was expecting.. BUT my dog doesn’t mind at all. She seriously loves this thing. It goes flat fairly quickly, but that’s what happens with all of her soccer balls, no matter the size. She’s a pitbul catahoula mix and has a strong bite. Considering my dogs chewing abilities, I’m fairly impressed by the durability of the ball, though she chewed through all but one of the rope handles in about 2 seconds. All that said, it’s one of her favorite toys(she’s 13 years old)
