What I love about it

  • The formula is comfortable to wear on the lips; there’s no need for lip balm anymore due to the hydrating, balmy texture of the lipstick. This is going to be a treat on dry lips! It’s also more forgiving appearance-wise for those who have flakes and texture.

  • The finish is glossy and it makes the lips look juicy, even if I have a lot of lip lines.

  • You get full-on color, and most of the shades are fairly opaque and apply evenly.

  • There are twenty shades available, and they’re all gorgeous.

  • There’s no taste or smell I can sense.

  • The packaging! I love the multi-faceted bullet as it reflects light so prettily in all angles. It’s sleek and feels premium even at an affordable P745 price tag.

Neutral

  • This has a balmy, hydrating formula, so unlike other waxy lipsticks with a matte or satin finish, it has less of a staying power. It’s average at 2-3 hours before I need to retouch. The brighter, more intense shades leave a nice stain while the deepest shades like L06 and L01 will fade from the center rather unevenly. It’s easy to retouch though as the lipstick doesn’t flake or get patchy so I don’t mind the staying power as much. This is a lip product I would wear for the finish + color.

What I don’t like about the product

  • The ten most wearable shades are a breeze to apply because I don’t need to be precise. However, for the other ten (the reds, and plums), the fat flat tip is difficult to work with. I get OC about my edges so it was a challenge to get these more intense/deeper colors within the lines. I would recommend using a lip brush!

I worried reading some of the major complaints from recent years about packaging issues and damages suffered to box & DVD's . It would appear that the manufacturers corrected this issue. The best Fellini collection on the US market
The collection is a bit pricey, but in this case you get what you pay for. These movies have all been restored beautifully, and the box is a delight. The packaging is a fairly sturdy cardboard box. It is quite large, so you may have trouble fitting it onto a bookshelf. Mine protrudes about an inch past the end of my shelf. Inside the box is a large folio for the discs and two novel-sized books. One is a guide to each of the films, and the other is full of essays about Fellini and his work. The movies all look great. The blu-ray upgrades look great compared to my old vhs or dvd copies of some of his works. There was a new restoration of all of these films right before the set came out, and it shows. The black and white contrast looks crisp and the color films really pop. As for the quality of the films, you know that some of these are considered top films of all time. The lesser films are still good to great. I think that all of these films are worth watching over and over, and all of them have great special features. All in all, this set is very much worth it, especially during the July sale. I bought it half price, and I feel I got an incredible bargain. All in all, this is probably the best Criterion box set. Don't hesitate, buy it.

Entrance to Fellini Heaven!
I don't think anyone needs to justify the greatness of Fellini as a director or Fellini movies as the greatest movies ever made. It is another thing to have most of his movies in one collection and be able to see them in the order they were produced. Presently, I am in Fellini Heaven and Rota's music is in my head most of the day. It is the greatest movie experience of my 84 year old life. Thank you, thank you, thank you! As far as packaging, I am not happy with the weird packaging of these movies. Storage is going to be a problem! When package arrived as quickly as Prime usually delivers, I was disappointed to find two discs floating outside of their fastening. (I have played half of the collection and so far have not found a problem.) I guess trying to fit all of these movies into a package is going to present a problem, so I might understand the decision to package them as they did. If the disks are O.K., I can live with the packaging. Meanwhile, I truly love having most of his movies in one packaging and, thanks to Criterion, the most magnificent documentaries about each movie. Just with the movies I have seen, I feel a total connection with Fellini I never had before. I almost feel he is my spiritual godfather! Long live this genius!!!!
