The Table — A Silversmithing Experience with Gabby Simmonds

Come and make a silver ring with me in my little studio in Wangaratta.
It's just you and me, a couple of hours at the bench, a bit of flame, a bit of fiddling around, and by the end you'll have made your own ring from scratch.
You can choose between three sterling silver stacker rings or one thicker hammered band. I'll guide you through measuring, shaping, filing, soldering, texturing and polishing — no experience needed at all.
The ring is only part of it, there's something about sitting at the table and making something with your hands that seems to get people talking. We have good chats in here. Sometimes light, sometimes meaningful, just a couple of hours away from everything else.
You'll leave with a ring you made yourself, and hopefully feeling a little bit lighter too.
What's included
All sterling silver and tools, apron and safety glasses, premium snacks and drinks, and a finished ring you made with your own hands.
Availability
One on one sessions run Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Bringing a group?
Private groups of 4 to 6 are available weekends by appointment — birthdays, celebrations, or just a really good reason to get your people together.
