We also offer a solid Bell Brass (380 alloy) block and a solid, nickel plated Carbon Steel (1020 alloy) block. Brass is best for the ultimate in sustain and producing warmer, jazzier overtones. Carbon Steel delivers a bit more low end punch and a faster attack. If you have a Fender Squier or thin body guitar then select the Shorty Sustainium for a perfect fit. The full height blocks measure 1.7” (43mm) tall and the shorty block measures 1.5” (38mm) tall.
