Released in 2004, the Sony MZ-NH1 is a flagship Hi-MD compatible device. It has both playback and recording functionality.
USB and charging connections are only possible with the battery charging stand or equivalent.
Uses a unique USB cable made only for this device.
All of the menu items are displayed in English. For example, 'OPTION', 'BEEP', 'DISC MODE', and so on.
It was sold with the RM-MC40ELK inline remote control.
