This Aviationtag captures a pivotal chapter in British regional aviation. Crafted from fuselage panels of the De Havilland Dash-8 Q400 G-PRPG, this piece carries authentic operational wear from its years connecting UK and European cities as part of flybe's distinctive purple fleet. Originally built in 2008, the aircraft served United Express before relocating to Britain in 2016, where it became integral to flybe's network until the airline's 2020 closure. Following careful dismantling in Saarbrücken in 2024, selected fuselage sections were transformed into these limited-edition tags. Each one retains its original livery colours—purple and white—along with genuine service marks that document its operational history. Lightweight, durable, and meticulously finished, it functions equally well as luggage identification, collection display piece, or daily keychain companion. Every tag bears a unique serial number, making it a distinctive artefact of aviation heritage. Upcycled in Germany and strictly limited to available panels.
