Black Label "Limited Edition N°2"

In 2015 Boon Brewery presented Oude Geuze Boon Black Label for the first time. This Oude Geuze was appreciated by many and won the gold medal "World Beer Cup 2016".
Because of the success it was decided to make a new blend, Black Label Second Edition. This one was bottled at the beginning of 2016. Once again, the result is a very dry geuze which is quite similar in taste to the first edition but which is even smoother and has a more clear aged beer character.
The high fermentation degree of Oude Geuze Boon Black Label makes it extra dry while keeping a very full body.



Black Label "Limited Edition N°3"

In comparison to the previous edition, the taste of Edition N°3 is slightly different. It has a very characterful, expressive and full taste, but still, like previous edition, the typical extra dry finish. Hints of citrus andgrapefruit are more discretely present in comparaison of the second edition. Vanilla and Oak are more prominent. Oude Geuze Boon Black Label is a perfect example of how we try to push the boundaries of lambic beer.
By bringing together a dry finish and full bodiedness, the result is a pleasing, complex and well balanced Oude Gueuze.


Black Label "Limited Edition N°4" (2019)

Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Edition N°4 is a blend of one, two and three year old, oak aged lambic. The lambic blend was made yet again to obtain the driest possible finish together with a full body taste. The soft-sourish hints of citrus, green apples and the strong carbonation are typical for this Edition N°4.
