Our chess pieces are a reproduction of one of variants of Chavet Chess used in

Our chess pieces are a reproduction of one of variants of Chavet Chess used in chess championships in 1980's to 90's.
This design was particularly appreciated by chess players for its simplistic design and clean lines.
It has no sharp protruding points making them a pleasure to hold and play with.
Dark Side army has been stained in Mahogany finish which is a refreshing alternative to standard ebonised boxwood variants or the golden rosewood variants commonly seen in tournament chess sets.
