Sweet Iron is a material that gives a slightly sweet taste for the horse as soon as the mouthpiece comes into contact with saliva. The surface starts to rust slightly, which also causes the horse to foam more and accept the bit better. For the double jointed mouthpieces, we use copper inserts, which have a sweeter taste from the outset.

Use of a lock up system
The pressure is increased on the bars of the horse's mouth so that there is little pressure on the tongue. The bit is often used on young horses or horses that are very sensitive in the mouth. The Lock Up System ensures that the broken sections tilt in the horse's mouth and thus become a bar. This shifts the pressure more evenly to the bars and tongue.
