  • Produkte werden unverrostet geliefert; die Rostbildung beginnt nach einigen Wochen und dauert – abhängig von den Witterungsbedingungen – ca. 4–5 Monate
  • Die Rostbildung kann durch das Auftragen von Owatrol-Öl beschleunigt oder gestoppt werden. Dieses Öl dringt tief in die Rostschicht ein, schützt vor weiterer Korrosion und vertieft die Farbe.

Wichtige Hinweise

  • Produkte sollten direkt nach Erhalt ausgepackt werden, um Feuchtigkeitsschäden durch Kondenswasser in der Verpackung zu vermeiden – sonst können unregelmäßige Rostflecken entstehen.
  • Für einde gute Drainage sorgen
  • Keine Dichtfolie verwenden - Wasser muss frei abfließen können
  • Wir empfehlen, Cortenstahlprodukte nicht näher als 2 km zur Küste zu verwenden. 
  • Während des Rostprozesses kan Rostwasser austreten - dies kann auf empfindlichen Untergründen Verfärbungen verursachen. 

Bepflanzungstipps

  • Füllen Sie den Kübel mit einer ca. 10 cm hohen Schicht aus grobem Kies (ø 35 mm) 
  • Legen Sie ein wasserdurchlässiges wurzelfestes Tuch darüber
  • Bedecken Sie das Tuch mit nährstoffreicher Erde, die für Ihre Pflanzenart geeignet ist.
