Der Riesling „Edilia“ 2022 ist Alex Saltaren Castros Hommage an seine Großmutter – und an die indigene Göttin „La Palchema“, Sinnbild für Mutter Erde. Dieser Wein verbindet naturnahe Weinbergsarbeit, persönliche Inspiration und puristische Vinifikation zu einem Riesling, der Klarheit, Energie und Herkunft eindrucksvoll vereint.

Herkunft / Lage / Vinifikation

Die Trauben stammen aus der charaktervollen Mittelheimer Lage Sankt Nikolaus. Alex arbeitet bewusst handwerklich und minimalinvasiv: traditionelle Korbpresse, spontane Gärung, Ausbau im gebrauchten 300-Liter-Holzfass, keine Schönung, keine Filtration, minimaler Schwefeleinsatz.
Dieser Ansatz bewahrt die natürliche Struktur des Rieslings und bringt die Kräuterwürze, Präzision und feine, gelbe Frucht des Jahrgangs klar zur Geltung.

Nase: Zarte Wiesenkräuter, gelbe Frucht, florale Anklänge und feine Mineralität.
