Weltweit werden mehr als 250000 Schmetterlingsarten vermutet. Die schweizerische Fauna ist sehr artenreich: Hier leben mehr als 3700 Arten, wovon jedoch «nur» etwas mehr als 200 Arten den eigentlichen Tagfaltern angehören. Darunter sind so bekannte Falter wie der Schwalbenschwanz, der Zitronenfalter oder das Tagpfauenauge. Schmetterlinge faszinieren nicht nur wegen ihrer vielfach prächtigen Farben und Zeichnungen, sondern auch wegen ihres vierfachen Lebens als Ei, Raupe, Puppe und Schmetterling. Die Kartenbox präsentiert eine kleine Auswahl einheimischer Schmetterlinge aus allen Gegenden unseres Landes. I'm recommending it to pretty much everyone and I've purchased a second pillow to keep at my parents for when I visit!
